After breakfast, begin your journey from Manali towards the remote landscapes of Zanskar. Drive through the iconic Atal Tunnel and continue through the spectacular Himalayan terrain towards Purne.
One of the major highlights of the day is crossing Shinkula Pass, situated at approximately 16,703 feet according to the source itinerary.
As you make your way deeper into the mountains, the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic. You will get your first impressive views of Gonbo Rangjon, also referred to in the itinerary as the God's Mountain.
