Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, meet and greet with our driver. We shall process towards hotel to complete check check-in process. After getting refreshed, we shall be ready to move for the local sightseeing visit. We shall witness Pari Mahal, Shankaracharya Temple, Chashma Shahi Garden, Lal Chowk & Mughal Garden, by evening drop back to hotel. Overnight stay with dinner.
After Breakfast, drive towards Sonamarg (4hrs), at an altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level, 87 km north east of Srinagar. Sonamarg which means 'meadow of gold is a beautiful spot full of snow clad mountains, fast and flowing water and vast meadows. You can also trek or hire ponies (Direct Payment) and visit Thajiwas Glacier which remains snow clad throughout the year. Return back to Srinagar and Overnight Stay at hotel.
After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our trip towards Gulmarg. Enjoy the Gondola (Cable car) ride which is highest in Asia. It has 2 phases. The first stage transfers from the Gulmarg Resort at 2,600 m (8,530 ft) to Kongdoori Station in the bowl-shaped Kongdori Valley.
The second stage of the ropeway, which has 36 cabins and 18 towers, takes skiers to a height of 3,747 m (12,293 ft) on Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m(13,780 ft)). Overnight stay at Srinagar Hotel.
Note : Pony Rides and Gondola Tickets are not included in Package
After Early, Breakfast proceed for Pahalgam. On the way visit Saffron fields of Pampore, Awantipura ruins and Mattan temple, finally reach Pahalgam, one of the beautiful and fascinating ideal resorts all the year round. It is the base for several treks in the region.
Situated at the confluence of the Lidder River and set amidst fir and pine covered mountains, one can have a real feelings of Paradise. You can trek or hire ponies to the meadow at Baisaran (5 km) you can also hire local car and visit Aru, Chandanwari & Betab Valley. Overnight stay at Pahalgam Hotel.
Note:- Pony Rides and Visit to Aru, Chandanwari and Betab Valley is not included in Package
Today after having the breakfast, you can spend little time in Pahalgam, later after checkout from hotel. We shall proceed back to Srinagar. We will take the overnight stay at Srinagar Houseboat. By evening we shall do the Shikara Ride.
